Who is impacted by long term effects:

• An unknown but meaningful percentage of survivors will experience relationship changes following poisoning, particularly those with serious poisoning
  
  
• Even more may experience [subtle] relationship changes that they do not recognize as being related to carbon monoxide poisoning

She died the night we were poisoned

The night we were poisoned was the night she died. She physically lived but the woman I loved and married was forever gone.

She was a different person. Moody as hell, explosive, so so difficult to be around, self absorbed beyond anything imaginable. I was really sick and she couldn't even see it. It truly was hell on earth in the years following poisoning.
