Carbon monoxide symptoms: short term

My girlfriend and I recently had CO poisining, her more than me.

She seems ok now but her body is aching all over and we have been told that this a CO after affect, is this true?

I have been feeling like a stunned monkey. Somewhat better first thing in the morning but the symptoms get progressively worse over the day and by mid afternoon I am totally wiped out. Watching television is very difficult as it seems to be annoying, overwhelming, and very tiring.

I was poisoned by a wall heater and gas stove for 9 months
PGE discovered it after my friend fell ill when she came over
My landlord had refused to let me get help
My drs dont know anything about it and Im paying hundreds of dollars and going far away to a dr who says they can help
Any suggestions would be great.
My ears are hurting so badly and I cant hold a cell phone VERY worried and depressed
