I was just released from the hospital yesterday. I currently have:

chest pain, short breath, speech delay, memory loss, bad vocabulary, dizziness, pressure headaches, stomach pains, off balance, vertigo, eye twitches, drunk feeling, tiredness, concentration problems

and I was exposed to what they say was "low level"
Symptoms that stick with me

I now have SEVERE panic attacks, anxiety, visual hallucinations, delusions, paranoia, fatigue, cracking and peeling skin on my feet and hands, very painful joints and muscles in my legs, feet, back, and my hands, memory loss, and confusion.

I'm sure there are more symptoms but it has taken time to see them and identify them. These are only the ones that really stick with me off the top of my head.
My symptoms and difficulties

Tiredness and fatigue, ekg alerted my doctor of heart issues, my math skills are greatly diminished, so are my organization skills. Getting things done/followup is very difficult, memory skills for thing that need to be done or driving direction, relational issues, anger that pops out at strange times, things like crossword puzzles are exceedingly difficult.

well obsivously its very dangerous, people who smoke r in the most danger because cigrattes include tar, CARBON MONOXIDE and tobacco
Carbon monoxide made me very ill

It has been 6 weeks since I discovered that my brand new gas fireplace was leaking carbon monoxide.

I experienced dizziness, brain fog, pins and needles in my hands, confusion, and felt like I was getting the flu constantly. I was very ill.

After finding out that there was a carbon monoxide problem, I looked back at my health problems and realize that I had dizzy spells, headaches, chest pains, constant fatigue, vertigo, poor appetite for the since the gas fireplace was installed.

The co-poisonings happened to our family over a 2 years period.

A government inspector discovered that carbon monoxide was leaking in from an improperly vented hot water heater.

It is really hard to recall what happened during this time. I only have small flashes of memory from those months... from what I recall I can remember feeling almost intoxicated with headaches, nausea, dizziness.

Its all a blur to me...

Symptoms and what I experienced...

I believe the CO poisoning took place consistently over a period of months. This is what I experienced during that time period.

Dizziness - Visual Problems (seeing shadows on ground as a 3 dimensional objects)

Peripheral vision problems - Night vision problems - Blurriness

Speech problems - Dyslexia (onset)

Hearing dulled - Asked people to repeat themselves 5 or 6 times

Severe confusion and memory loss (couldn't remember names of women I'd worked with everyday for 8 years or remember the names at work)

Severe asthma (onset)

Sleep Apnea (onset)

Sleeping 12 hours a day and still exhausted

Severe change to my vocabulary

Stuttering

Swollen tongue and throat (could not swallow without choking on food)

Hair thinning/hair loss

Diagnosed with Adjustment Disorder

Pre-CO poisoning IQ was 135.
Same test post-poison 118.
Being poisoned sucks real bad

My carbon gas problem

My poisoning

Nausea and vomiting. Incredible cognitive problems. Memory issues. Sensitivity to bright light, sounds and foods.

Easily frustrated and unaware of emotions and the rapid changes of emotions. Hair loss. Weight gain. Constant headaches. Coordination and balance issues.

Days where I did not feel safe to drive at all. Quite easily fatigued. Problems sleeping and sleeping longer hours than normal.

Ringing in the ears and tingling in the body. Depression.

There is much more that I do not remember from the time - but friends and family remember more of the problems from this time than what I do.
Real bad brain fog

I had all the symptoms of ME, 'brain fog', neuralgia in the left side of my head.

I also had a strange itchy 'rash' at the back of my neck which seemed to come from the base of my skull. It made my skin sore to the touch. This was immediate
on the day I was poisoned.

I initially felt better after a week of rest, but two weeks later I still dont feel 100&0x37; right in my self.

Low energy levels at work after performing small tasks
I would normally perform with ease.

Drowsiness light head during the course of the day.

Dehydrated more often, bouts of confusion - low concentration levels. Don't feel too good at all...
Our carbon monoxide poisoning after affect

Headaches headaches more headaches. My level was 26. There were 5 of us . I'm 55 years old. Wife 54.
Daughter 29, son-in-law 32, and baby 3 months. We all were admitted and released after 30 hours of O2 and IV drip.

We are so lucky to be alive but having severe memory loss - vision - balance - extreme fatigue - trouble problem solving - reasoning

most of my acute symptoms are pounding chest feeling, passing out cuz I was thinking i was just exhausted from work, hair loss subsided after my neighbor was forced to replace her condo furnace.

Exposure to low levels of CO began 3.5 years ago. No symptoms were noticed for a long time after exposure began but then it started to get real bad!

Early Dec. could not multitask, late Dec. heart rate increased and would not come down, extreme fatigue, continued to be poisoned until furnace plugged.

I work at a restaurant and believe I have been exposed to carbon monoxide from the heating system for several years.

It has only been a week since CO poisoning. I experienced a headache, nausea, and dizziness at the time of exposure. However, since then, I have been very dizzy, my chest is tight, and I feel completly out of it.

Symptoms of my CO poisoning

I have some issues with memory. I've had two miscarriages that were related to low progesterone.

During the CO poisoning (which lasted 6 months), I encountered increasing pain in my limbs. It got so bad I had to quit contracting for a dream job I had. I also hallucinated dark shapes and lost track of time. I felt tired all the time and so did my husband. I lost my sense of smell. I was losing my hearing too.
Symptoms 3 months after CO poisioning

Mental symptoms: confusion, inability to concentrate, feeling like superman, obsessive, destroyed relationships, anger, believed I was dying, preoccupation with health concerns and no one knowing what was wrong with me, fear and frustration.

Physical symptoms: ongoing burning in chest, sinus problems, waking up unable to breathe, throat
and ears sore.
